Many years ago, my whole life got flipped upside down unexpectedly.
Deaths, divorce, and a decade at my career, all gone, all at the same time! It was traumatic... a hot mess.
And on top of that, although I grew up with a religious background. I had chased the American dream. College, the successful career, the husband, the house. I thought I had it all. I thought I was set.
But when this all happened, I found out very quickly that I was spiritually empty. I felt betrayed, empty, lost, scared, confused, and stuck. I couldn't believe I had worked so hard and done everything "right" only to have it all gone... all at the same time.
This was the lowest point that I have ever had in my life but it became my brightest because that is when I was exposed to spirituality.
It really helped me learn and grow and connect with my intuition and start to find myself again.
What I didn't like was that there was negativity attached to it and that it seemed to leave out the practical implementation and action steps that I needed to learn how to live a life of spiritual and practical growth AT THE SAME TIME. I became thirsty for more and it took me a long time to sift thru all the BS to get to where I am now but my life is totally different now.
Because I developed a spiritual practice for myself, I now live the life of my dreams.
